• Sensor Mounting: M8 rod eyes, body clamps or M8 threadsSpring loaded pushrod option available
• Available in any measurement angle from 0-5mm to 0-800mm
• Sealed to IP68 350bar, 3500msw, 5000psi
The intrinsically safe X125 sealed to IP68 350bar (5000psi, 3500m), is an ATEX and IECEx gas approved linear sensor . With a strong 12.6mm push rod it is recommended for applications where high pressure sealing is required or where vibration is an issue or there is a need for longer travel sensors are to be mounted horizontally between rod eyes. It remains an affordable, durable, high-accuracy position sensor designed for applications where the sensor requires IP68 sealing up to a pressure of 350Bar. The unit is highly compact and space-efficient, being responsive along almost its entire length. Like all Positek sensors, the X125 provides a linear output proportional to displacement. Each sensor is supplied with the output calibrated to the travel required by the customer, from 0-5mm to 0-800mm and with full EMC protection built in.
The sensor is very robust, the body and push rod being made of stainless steel for long service life and environmental resistance.
Overall performance, repeatability and stability are outstanding over a wide temperature range. The sensor is easy to install with mounting options including stainless steel M8 rod eye bearings and body clamps. The push rod can be supplied free or captive, with M8 thread, or an M8 stainless steel rod eye. The X125 also offers a wide range of mechanical and electrical options.
Positek intrinsically safe sensors are designed to be used with a galvanically isolated amplifier . Approved galvanic isolation amplifiers (X005) are available from Positek; there is a choice of 0.5-9.5V or 4-20mA transmission outputs.
The sensor can be installed with a cable length up to 1km between the sensor and the amplifier.

Intrinsically Safe and Explosion-Proof Devices Explained
Intrinsically safe and explosion-proof devices are designed to operate safely in hazardous environments by preventing ignitions. This blog explains the principles behind these devices, their differences, and their applications.
Surge relief is an important component in many liquid handling systems. Whether it be a pipeline, storage terminal or loading station, these systems help to protect people and the environment around it.
Understanding Dual Axis Inclinometers: Background and Applications
While they may be small, the role of rotary encoders in spacecraft is vital, demanding a balance between performance, reliability, and the unforgiving environment of space. From NASA’s Robonaut II to automated material handling systems on the International Space Station, Everight has worked with engineers to put rotary encoders into ‘the final frontier.’
Analog Sensors – Now monitored (easily) in the Cloud
The Trumeter IoT Gateway is a device that allows you to connect your analog sensors to the internet for remote monitoring and data collection through the Trumeter Cloud platform. It is a plug-and-play device that supports up to four analog inputs and includes free access to the Trumeter Cloud dashboard.
