Part no.: P137
• Body Diameter: 19mm
• Sensor Mounting:Â M5 Rod Eyes, Body Clamps or M5 ThreadsSpring loaded pushrod option available
• Measurement range 350-600mm, for shorter ranges see P117
• Sealed to IP67
The P137 is is very space efficient and compact with its 19mm body diameter. Affordable, durable, high-accuracy position sensor designed for industrial and scientific feedback applications. The repeatability, overall performance and stability are excellent over a large temperature range. The P137 is housed within a stainless steel body tube and has a 3/8″””” stainless steel push rod.
Various mounting options are available including M5 male stud and M5 rod eye bearing. The push rod can be supplied free or captive with M5 male thread or M5 rod eye. Like all Positek products the P117 provides a linear output proportional to the displacement. Each unit is supplied calibrated to the customers exact requirement, from 0-5mm to 0-350mm and with full EMC protection built in. For example, if your application requires 3/4″””” (19 mm) measurement then Positek will manufacture the sensor specifically for this length. The mechanical length and calibration will be set up for 19 mm.
The P117 is sealed to IP67 . The sensor has fully integrated EMC protection.

Wiegand Effect Energy Harvesting
The “Wiegand effect” was discovered almost fifty years ago and has been used successfully in several specialized applications. However, its full potential for energy harvesting and signal generation has received only limited recognition. With recent enhancements to the energy output from Wiegand devices and the emergence of a new generation of ultra-efficient electronic chips for wireless communications, the technology is showing significant promise, especially in the exciting new area of the Internet of Things (IoT). UBITO, a member of the FRABA Group of technology companies, is leading research and development projects aimed at fulfilling this promise.
How Getting Older is Changing Robotics
While it may be noble to develop robotics to help older demographics in society, companies small and large alike have good business reasons to do so. Roughly 10,000 Baby Boomers retire daily. These consumers not only have wants and needs but have worked their whole lives to create a nest egg to fund them. […]
Selecting the Right Sensors for Hazardous Environments
Choosing the right sensors for hazardous environments is essential for ensuring safety and operational efficiency. This blog explores key considerations for sensor selection, the role of safety engineers, and an overview of Everight Position’s sensor solutions.
How To: Use an Open Collector Output
All new Gill level sensors come with a secondary output function which operates as a high or low level switch. So what is it and how do I use an Open Collector switch output?
