Designed for exposure to the extreme conditions prevalent in the Aerospace and Defense industries, the VLP-60, VLP-80, VLP-100, VLP-140, VLP-170 and VLP-247 encoders provide unparalleled performance across a wide variety of sizes. These encoders offer high levels of tolerance to shocks, vibration, humidity, and extreme temperatures, including high levels of EMI and RFI interference.

Frameless, Contact-Free Design

The VLP’s frameless, contact-free design enables Netzer to provide outstanding performance in a lightweight (16-42 gr), low-profile (6 mm) encoder. This makes it well-suited for demanding Aerospace and Defense applications where size and mass are critical. Its mechanical simplicity and relaxed installation tolerances allow developers to choose from a wide array of integration techniques.

Unique Grounding Mechanism

VLP encoders offer a unique, intrinsic grounding mechanism that utilizes the stator bolt to establish a grounding connection between the sensor and the system chassis – eliminating the need for dedicated grounding wires.
