Opkon

SLPC

Part no.: SLPC

Key Features

• Measuring range 10 - 400 mm

• Long mechanical life 100 million movements

• Excellent repeatability <0.01 mm

• 3 kOhm: 10 ... 50mm,  5 kOhm: 75 ... 400mm

Opkon SLPC potentiometers are easy to install and have long lifetimes thanks to the rodeye ends. They are an alternative to Novotechnik TEX and TX2 as well as Gefran PZ34A series sensors.

Improved Encoder Accuracy Brings Hidden Benefits

Capacitive rotary encoders such as those from Netzer Precision are known for their low profile, high noise immunity and excellent accuracy. As a result, they are an excellent choice for applications such as camera systems, radar, slip-rings and robotic joints. Often times in these tasks the encoder is used for velocity feedback, ensuring a smooth […]

How Getting Older is Changing Robotics

While it may be noble to develop robotics to help older demographics in society, companies small and large alike have good business reasons to do so.   Roughly 10,000 Baby Boomers retire daily. These consumers not only have wants and needs but have worked their whole lives to create a nest egg to fund them. […]
