Part no.: S125
• Body Diameter: 40mm
• Sensor Mounting: M8 rod eyes, body clamps or M8 threadsSpring loaded pushrod option available
• Available in any measurement angle from 0-5mm to 0-800mm
• Sealed to IP68 350bar, 3500msw, 5000psi
The 350bar S125 is a higher pressure version of the S115 sensor with a larger electronics housing and wet mate high pressure connector. The S125 is sealed for continual submersion up to 3500m (350bar 5000psi). The unit is compact, space-efficient and responsive along almost its entire length.
Like all Positek sensors, the S125 provides a linear output proportional to displacement. Each sensor is supplied with the output calibrated to the travel required by the customer, our standard range covers any measurement range from 0-5mm to 0-800mm. As with all of our packaged sensors full EMC protection is built in.
The sensor is very robust, the body and push rod being made of 316 stainless steel for long service life and environmental resistance.
Overall performance, repeatability and stability are outstanding over a wide temperature range. The sensor is easy to install with mounting options including 316 stainless steel M8 rod eye bearings and 316 stainless body clamps. The push rod can be supplied free or captive, with M8 thread, or an M8 stainless steel rod eye. The S125 also offers a wide range of mechanical and electrical options, environmental sealing is to IP68 350Bar (5000psi).
This sensor is waterproof for submersion to 3500 meters.

Improved Encoder Accuracy Brings Hidden Benefits
Capacitive rotary encoders such as those from Netzer Precision are known for their low profile, high noise immunity and excellent accuracy. As a result, they are an excellent choice for applications such as camera systems, radar, slip-rings and robotic joints. Often times in these tasks the encoder is used for velocity feedback, ensuring a smooth […]
Mass Customization: Saving Money in the Long Run
In today’s competitive market, businesses strive to meet the diverse needs and preferences of their customers. One approach gaining traction is mass customization – the ability to tailor products and services to individual customer requirements while maintaining efficiency in production.
Synchronous Serial Interface (SSI) is a widely used serial interface standard for industrial applications between a master (i.g. controller) and a slave (i.g. sensor).
What semiconductors, snacking and gambling all have in common: Encoders!
There has been a lot of talk lately around the global ‘chip’ shortage. Even social media last month was filled with cartoons of engineers asking Santa for semiconductors for Christmas. Rotary encoders such as the DS-130 by Netzer Precision are an important part of this ‘chip’ production. Accuracies exceeding 0.004 degrees, 21 bit resolution and a 90mm ID ensure that component placement can be done accurately and consistently.
