Part no.: Positek P505
• 19mm diameter body
• Analog voltage and current outputs
• 0.25% linearity
• Measure up to 160 deg range
P505 with its 19mm dia body is a miniature, high accuracy rotary position sensor designed for industrial, automotive and scientific feedback applications. Like all Positek sensors the P505 is supplied with the output calibrated to the angle specified by the customer, between 15 and 160 degrees. The electronics are all fully integrated, no external signal conditioning is required. The sensor provides a linear output proportional with angle of rotation. There is a small machined registration mark to identify the calibrated mid point.
The P505 is well suited to OEMs where good sensor performance and compact housing is important.
Overall performance, repeatability and stability are outstanding over a wide temperature range. The P505 has a anodised aluminum flange, stainless steel body and shaft for a long service life and excellent environmental resistance. The sensor is easy to install with flange or servo mounting options, it also offers a range of electrical options. Sealing is IP67 and full EMC protection built in.

Osico Oil-Mon Oil Quality Sensor
Particle Contamination, Water Contamination and Oxidation. Any one of these nuisances can spell disaster for lube oil. Of course, you run a lab oil analysis program so you know periodically what these levels are in a machine. But what if you could monitor these parameters in real time? Osico Oil-Mon is a 4-in-1 oil quality […]
For applications where sudden movements, shocks, and vibrations are likely to be encountered, it is important to have sensors with fast response and a clean signal output. POSITAL’s dynamic inclinometers combine two measurement principles using two different MEMS sensors: a 3D acceleration sensor and a 3D gyroscope.
‘Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap’ – The Gill Blade Sensor
Not all sensors live easy lives. While some will go on to do noble things such as aiding in medical surgery robotics or will find lives in cutting-edge cobots such as Boston Dynamic’s spot, others will live simpler, yet equally important lives, this article is dedicated to one of those unsung heroes, the Gill Blade Sensor.
Surge relief is an important component in many liquid handling systems. Whether it be a pipeline, storage terminal or loading station, these systems help to protect people and the environment around it.
